The prototype joins seven independently controlled hexes to one Base Board. Passive pieces close electrical contacts; resistor values encode identity where identity is needed. Each hex renders its number locally on an OLED.
- Architecture and geometry: physical positions and sensor ownership.
- Seven-hex prototype: known layout and electrical order.
- Sensing: resistor dividers and robber contacts.
- Power: battery, charger, boost converter, and distribution.
